WELCOME

Dear all,

Welcome to your English III course, facilitated by Janeth López.

In this virtual space, you will find all the necessary resources and classes designed to support your learning journey in various meaningful ways. This course will help you:

  • Stay on track with your learning.

  • Learn English in a meaningful and relevant context.

  • Understand that learning is a process, not merely a product.

  • Collaborate effectively with others.

  • Remain persistent and resilient, especially when facing challenges or frustrations.

  • Become fluent in using digital tools and feel empowered to express your ideas.

  • Be creative in your approach to language learning.

  • Engage with and understand the world around you through English.

Let me assure you—learning and understanding English is not difficult. The key is simple: practice, practice, and more practice.

English grammar refers to the correct use of words to form sentences. It is the art of expressing your thoughts clearly and effectively in English. By studying grammar, you learn to connect words in ways that make your ideas understandable to others.

“English III – Low Intermediate” is designed to help you grasp the fundamental concepts of the language through a dynamic and interactive approach. You will engage with videos and listen to a variety of English accents. Today, we move beyond just British or American English—we explore international English.

Your participation in class is essential. It is through active involvement that you will develop the skills to communicate effectively, which is a key requirement for passing this course.

We will remain in constant communication throughout our time together. Remember, when you're in the classroom, the main goal is to develop both fluency and accuracy in English.

Finally, your project (speech) is a vital part of your assessment. It is your opportunity to demonstrate what you’ve learned. To succeed in this course, you must not only complete the required tasks, but also actively engage with the formative assessments (such as homework in the Cambridge Learning Management System), as these are mandatory. This will help you strengthen your ability to speak and communicate effectively, using the grammar and vocabulary aligned with the course objectives.

Looking forward to a successful and inspiring journey together!

Warm regards,
Janeth López
